Affirmative Prayer

There is a Power for good in your life!
Affirmative Prayer is our form of prayer. We use Affirmative Prayer to initiate the healing process. The use of Affirmative Prayer gives us the means of choosing the direction of our thought – it is the process and method by which we change our thought. Affirmative Prayer dispels our doubts and fears, so that we may perceive the presence of God.

It's a simple process to learn that will change your life. Like anything, effective prayer requires some practice, and the more you do it, the more it works. We see positive demonstrations among those who use it every day.

Methodology
We teach and employ a five step method of Affirmative Prayer:

1. Recognition: We acknowledge the One Power [e.g.. God, Mind, Spirit, Love – attributes thereof].

2. Unification: We unify with the One Power [e.g. I am one with God, I am One with the Universe, etc...].

3. Affirmation: We state, in the affirmative, what it is we desire in our lives [e.g. I am healthy, happy and in love. I experience clarity every day. I affirm the abundance in my life and have more than everything I need and can do what I want when I want.].

4. Thanksgiving: We express gratitude for what we affirmed in step 3.

5. Release: We let it go with a knowing and a belief that what we are praying for is already done.  When we let go, we set it into Universal Law so that it can begin to work upon our words, thoughts and beliefs as stated in steps one through four.

And so it is.

Can I do Affirmative Prayer for myself?
Of course! Religious Science has developed an entire curriculum of classes designed to teach students how to direct the power of affirmative prayer within themselves in   creative, specific and life-changing ways.
