Retreats

There are two retreats every year in which we actively participate – Lake Arrowhead Retreat in May and RSI's yearly gathering at Asilomar in July. Both are wonderful opportunities to get away and focus on Spirit and fellowship.

Over Memorial Day weekend, ten of our members “retreated” up the mountain to experience life at the beautiful UCLA Conference Center at Lake Arrowhead.  Later, in July, thirty members attended Asilomar, Religious Science International’s summer retreat near beautiful Carmel, California.  This facility, which is located across from the Pacific Ocean and at the beginning of the 17 Mile Drive, is one of the most spectacular destinations in all of America.

What happened to all of us at Lake Arrowhead and Asilomar was simply magnificent. Imagine several days of laughing, learning, dining, sharing, walking by the water, watching deer frolic outside your  window, listening to uplifting music, and deepening your relationship with God and with other “consciously conscious” participants from literally around the world. Did I mention that while the desert was slowly baking, the temperature never exceeded 75 degrees in either place?

We are also open to other opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship.
Through our Visioning sessions this last spring, many expressed an interest in going on more retreats – we need your ideas, so let us know if you know of any retreats you'd like to get a group together for or whether you have an idea for a new retreat we can start.
